Internet-Bridging the digital divide between the rural area and urban area

As we all know, internet is the network of a network or in other words it is the interconnected network of thousands of network. By internet, people from all around the world can be easily connected to each other. Life could become distracted if internet was not around nowadays. As if like internet has become part of the world’s need.

Daily business transaction, government administration, lecturing, social networking and many others use internet as their medium of implementation. Should I say that internet has become part of the world most fundamental in this era?

However, internet could end up with digital divide between the rural area and urban area. The reason to this is simple. Internet can only be used by all the people in the urban area. People living in town can easily access to the internet because the provider can be easily obtained. Unfortunately, people living in rural area might have difficulties of accessing to the internet because the internet provider is very limited.

What if we increase the internet provider in the rural area? So that people living in these areas could at least enjoy all the benefits they might get through the usage of internet. Therefore, the digital divide between the rural area and the urban area can be bridge up simply by the internet itself.

Increase the internet provider by means of increases their chances to access to the internet is simply by providing an easier way for them to access the internet. Thus, this means that internet itself could recover the digital divide that happens.

For example, we are already familiar with the mobile internet. This advancement can be one of the sources for diminishing the digital divide as if people living in the rural area can be easily access to the internet by using the mobile internet. This could not be enough in terms of the efficiency, but this could be one of the ways to solve the matter.

Through the advancement of technology, I believe that this gap could be diminished immediately as to prevent the imbalance in terms of receiving news and updates form the world.
